How much do you charge?

'This will depend on what you want me to help with and how often etc, so if you get in touch, I'll let you know

My dog doesn't like other dogs, can you still walk him? 

Yes of course - I offer 1:1 individual walks, get in touch and we can chat further

How far will you walk? 

'My walks are based on an amount of time, rather than distance as the pace can vary so much with different breeds.  Book 1/2 an hour, an hour or longer, it's up to you

How do I know my dogs safe with you?

Having Charlie for over 5 years now, I've learnt a lot on top of the training I did with the guide dogs so I hope there won't be too much I can't help with.  In addition I am also DBS checked and fully insured.  I''ll also go through a vet treatment agreement form with you when we meet, should your dog ever need emergency treatment with me

Do you offer dog sitting service?

This is what I've called my 'stay and play'.  I can visit your dog at home, let them out in the garden have a play and make sure they have fresh water, how long I spend is up to you

My dog loves free running will you free run him?

I do hope this will be possible once I've established a bond with your dog and in a location I feel it's safe to do so.  Recall was a vital skill the guide dogs had to have so I've had lots of practice with them

Where will you walk my dog?

I use a number of my favourite local walks, in and around Southam and the surrounding villages and am always on the look out for new  ones to try too, so I look forward to hearing where you walk your dog and heading there really soon

Can you collect my dog from home when I'm not there?

Yes, no problem at all, we'll make arrangements to do this in a safe and secure way

How will you transport my dog?

I have a VW Transporter van for my business and have a range of options for safe transfer e.g. crates, seat belt harnesses etc.  So whether it's taking your dog out to a fab local walk or to get others for a group walk, they'll be safe and sound with me

My dog has a special diet will you be able to accomodate this?

Absolutely, Charlie has a sensitive stomach and I have to be caferful with what he eats so I know what this is like.  If you can leave me a supply of their special treats, when I come and collect them I'll ensure they have only those

What will you do if my dog gets hurt whilst it's with you?

We'll discuss this further when we meet but in short we'll have an agreement about what I do with regard to vet treatment in an emergency if, for example, I can't get hold of you

What are your payment terms?

Payment will be in advance but I realise things can change and ask for as much notice to alter previously made bookings.  I use online banking so electronic transfers are possilble and will obviously take cash when I meet you or when I collect your dog for our walks.
